Oil on canvas-board, 229x 305mm

The composition consists of an interlocking group of similarly curved lines drawn on a yellow surface. A number of layers of flat colour are then carefully built up, leaving the outlines the original yellow. Edges of the various layers remain visible. The image recalls a journey west to the Kimberley region of northern Australia during the wet season, at night, under a waning moon.
